can't play wmv files

configure mplayer and try a few different video drivers.  the x11
plugin works fairly well for me, though I'm running AIGLX.  Curiously
enough the OpenGL plugins don't work that well... isn't that weird?
One would think that with AIGLX going that the GL plugins would work
quite nicely....  strange.
