can't play wmv files

Hi all,
I have a problem with playing .wmv files. Before, I
could play it. I don't know what's wrong now.
Whenever, I tried to open it with Kaffeine, it
creashed. If I tried mplayer, it said error to
initialize video output device.

Another problem also annoys me. Why can't I play the
plugin windows media video in konqueror? I mean on the
website. It just doesn't run. 

Can anyone help me?
