That, unfortunately, is true. You could tell them to export the document
to HTML, but I doubt that this will do much good.
And to some extent I agree that we have to be pragmatic - I will open
word documents but only if I have to and after telling them to use an
open format instead. I think I'll alter my signature a bit.
