I just upgraded to Feisty. I was playing with a script and needed to
find my external HD. I issued a df, since that would show all my drives.
To my surprise, I got:
stewart at stewart:~$ df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 36985736 4032800 31074136 12% /
varrun 253576 220 253356 1% /var/run
varlock 253576 0 253576 0% /var/lock
procbususb 253576 116 253460 1% /proc/bus/usb
udev 253576 116 253460 1% /dev
devshm 253576 0 253576 0% /dev/shm
lrm 253576 33788 219788 14%
/lib/modules/2.6.20-15-generic/volatile
/dev/sda3 41286828 11276864 27912680 29% /home
/dev/sda4 74082012 184480 70134308 1% /opt
stewart at stewart:~$
I understood /dev/sd to refer to scsi drives....is this right?
