Upgrading from 6.10 to 7.04

You cannot go from 6.04 to 7.04, you have to go from one release to the other, 
upgrading all along. Far far far easier to wipe and instal 7.04 from scratch. 
Hope you have a partition devoted to /home so you don't need to backup all 
your personal data.
