Feisty doesnt find my harddisk!

hello

i tried  '....initrd=/install/initrd.gz quit pci=noacpi --'
and '....initrd=/install/initrd.gz quit noacpi --'
i just wrote that into boot options but didnt help?
and still during installation process the message appears cant find harddisk? mayby you have other suggestions? is it possible to manipulate the install disk maybe add the drivers from the edgy cd? or what shall i do?
