Feisty doesnt find my harddisk!

Actually, I was wrong.  The option I need to get feisty to find my hard 
disk is "noapic".  The "pci=routeirq" is needed to get sound to work on 
my computer.

To enter these options for the desktop cd, press F6 at the first 
screen.  This lets you edit the boot options.  Add the options you want 
and press enter.

If this works for you, and you install feisty, you will have to add the 
options to the kernel lines in /boot/grub/menu.lst.
