Ktorrent and speed issues

Still having what I THINK is a problem, but not sure.  Any one
else trying this?

Using Ktorrent to download the amd64 DVD version of 7.04 release.

I have all options set to the max with no downgrading of rates.

I am using the out of the box setting for the ports:

Port:  6881
UDP tracker port:  444

and I have increased the number of default upload slots from 2 to 12
just to be helpful.

I am still looking at a 15 day download estimate!!!  

Any help, suggestions appreciated.  I keep looking daily for any
reference to any site that downloaded the whole DVD distro and has
it available or for any mirror-site that may have it.  I realize it
is a big transfer.
