Feisty doesnt find my harddisk!

hi 

i tried to install feisty on my notebook but feisty doesnt find my harddisk during the installation process, but edgy did? so how can i install it? is there a possibility to copy the drivers from the edgy cd to the feisty cd? so  that also feisty has the drivers ? i thought maybe just copy a few files or a directory to a special directory? or will maybe the dvd help me has it more drivers?
