No sound on Feisty on ThinkPad

I am running a t43p just downloaded feisty (kubuntu)yesterday was 
running 6.06 before.
The sound is not working i have tried everything will start working 
through the system to try and find where the problems are any heads 
up would be appreciated.

Its the only thing thats not working  with feisty so far .
Very impressed with everything else wireless wpa and video work out of 
the box.looks like its going to be a good one.
