Hi,
I don´t want ¨power saving¨ on, because I want my screensaver to be
displayed.
But every time I turn off power saving and ¨restart xserver¨, it comes
back at 640x480 or whatever, resolution,
and won´ allow me to reset the resolution. At that point, it only
offers 640x480 or 1600x1200 (which is outside my monitor´s
range. Ideal for this monitor is 1280x1024).
Then, I dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg, and get my resolution back, but
the d@#ned power saving comes back on, too.
Any assistance appreciated, as always...
tony
