Oh. Well. That surely sucks. You should file a bug on it. That is
really, truly awful behaviour and is going to cause a lot of pain for a
lot of people.
Even with the hibernation stuff still in a permanent alpha state that
really isn't a good thing and Ubuntu should fix it one way or another.
