If you can ssh into it,
1) ssh into it with port forwarding.
2) Then use a browser on your box with the local port which maps to the port
of the ssh box.
3) Keep accessing gmail.
You can also replace step 1 by:
1) X11 forwarding and install a browser on the ssh box and see the display
on your local box.
