AcrobatReader not available via Adept?

Annoying, isn't it?

You'll have to get it from the acrobat site; it does install fine from
there. That's the way I had to get it too.

Incidentally, apparently it is available via adept if one's running a
32-bit machine; hence the posts here saying "yes it is available".

It would be nice if Kubuntu were to tell one this (if only to avoid
the "yes it is available", "no it isn't", "yes it is" threads), but it
doesn't. It would be even better if there some way to have Kubuntu
install the 32-version properlyand automatically  on 64-bit systems (à
la Mandriva -- but then Mdv has other problems managing a mix of
32-bit and 64-bit programs, so maybe it's better that Kubuntu doesn't
even attempt to automate the process).
