Notebook HP dv4155CL

Hello all,

I have a HP dv4155CL Notebook and I have experienced some problems on it with 
Kubuntu 6.0 LTS. 

- the lid button some times work and some times don`t.
- Every time I login in KDE I have to go to my system configuration->Display 
and set the Power saving tab to switch off monitor in 2 minutes (I don`t know 
why my prefferences have not being saved)

Some experienced these problems? Can help me?
