Actually I used xvidcap [1] to make the video, but there are other
options too.
When I was making this it was in response to Alan Popes screencasts on
Ubuntu, he doesn't use KDE at all, so he can't very well make
screencasts on them. When I was almost done with it (just had to stitch
it all together and fine tune), Alan went and blogged a howto for making
screencasts [2] which you'll find packed full of tips for you.
