KSCD: Autoplay when CD inserted NOT selected BUT...
On the KsCD control panel I clicked on "Extras", then I
clicked on "Configure KsCD" and verified that the option
"Autoplay when CD inserted" is NOT checked.
But if KsCD is running it still automatically starts to play the CD if I
insert one in the drive. I ensured that this option was NOT selected
because I don't want my music to start until and unless I specifically
tell KsCD to play it.
AND if KsCD was running when I last closed the xserver, and there is
still a CD in the drive the next time I run startx it also starts to play
the CD. Which is very annoying when I get up in the wee hours because I
can't sleep and decide to finish waking up while I _QUIETLY_ boot my PC
to check my E-mail or something. And suddenly have to wake up enough to
quickly figure out which one of my 4 somewhat cluttered desktops KSCD is
hiding on so that I can shut it up before it wakes up the rest of the
household.
Does anyone know what I have to do to get KsCD to quietly wait till it's
told to, before it starts playing a CD???
