breezy - kpilot won't connect.

Palm syncing was always flaky under (k)ubuntu, but with a little
fiddling *each time*, I was eventually able to sync with hoary and kpilot.

Now, I can't get it to sync at all.

'dmesg | grep USB' reports the palm is trying to connect to ttyUSB1, but

'ls /dev/ttyUSB*' results in a file not found, even with the sync button
pressed.

Is this a kernel issue? A udev issue?

Anybody had success with breezy pilot syncing?
