Hi
I remember reading in coreys blog that "if you need to touch the cli then it's
a bug". I don't know if this is a personal opinion, or a real goal for
(k)ubuntu.
Anyway,... If it was for me, I would get dirty with cli, but some people
prefere gui everywhere. I still think is something needed in kubuntu (gnome
has one (don't know if it's going to be included in dapper since I'm using
kubuntu).
