Turning off touchpad tapping?

Thanks, but that's the first thing I did.  Ksynaptics settings seem to be 
ignored.

Still going through the forum looking for other "tips."  I'm leaning heavily 
toward just going back to Mandriva, though, to be honest ... most everything 
simply worked "out of the box" there.  :-(
