So I edited my ~/kde/share/apps/konqueror/konqueror.rc and added:
<Action name="loadviewprofile" /> because it seemed likely that with an  
<Action name="saveviewprofile" /> that it would be the correct syntax.  It 
apparently was as I got the menu item back.

However this raises another question of what possible menu items there might 
be that we aren't getting, how to find out what these might be.

For instance, I can add two terminal Icons to the toolbars to either open a 
separate terminal or to open one in the current Konqueror screen.  AFAIK 
there is no menu option for either of these.  How do I find out what the 
correct "Action" is to add these?
