Firefox opens on half the screen

It's not a bug- that's Firefox being the _size_ of a maximized window,
but it's still not maximized from the window manager's perspective.
Just try to maximize/ unmaximize it. See, it stays the same! The
reason that you think that Fx is open maximized is that it's openin in
the last unmaximized state it was in. If that happens to be the size
of a maximized window, then so be it.
