KDE 3.4.2 for AMD64?

Hi All,
I don't want to sound like an ungrateful bastard, but when the hell can we
expect AMD64 packages for KDE 3.4.2 on Hoary?? One of the big carrots
dangled was that Kubuntu will support AMD64....<ok>...so where's the
packages? KDE 3.4.0 is a bit buggy and I've noticed most of these
irritations are gone on 3.4.2 which is running on my i386 lappy over there
--->
KDE 3.4.1 is a no-go for me because I need cervisia which is broken in that
version. Is there some way to pull the binaries out of Breezy (doubtful
considering the C/C++ changes happening over there)? I've googled and
RTFM'ed and searched the archives, but other than
Frode Døving's efforts on 3.4.1 for AMD64...the whole thing seems to have
gone cold.
Ideas (clue bats) anyone?
If anyone has a neat build script[1] that saves me the wrangling normally
involved in building source packages, I'm happy to donate my AMD64's CPU
cycles to the cause....but I really don't have the time to spend a week
fiddling just to get the packages to compile etc (sorry).
Cheers,
James
[1] I really mean "automated build tool" - that will download the right
source debs, then step through the build process until the lot is built
etc. Then I can upload to a public mirror somewhere.
