Oddly, when running apt-update, it displays this :

Reading state information... Done
22 packages can be upgraded. Run 'apt list --upgradable' to see them.

Doing the suggested command outputs this:
gus at gus-HP-Compaq-6000-Pro-SFF-PC:~$ apt list --upgradable

It looks like some plasma-next ppa packages are marked as upgradeable before
we actually try to install plasma5? These include plasma-nm and plasma-desktop

Note that if we do not do a full-upgrade *before* installing kubuntu-plasma5-
desktop, these packages are not installed.:

0 upgraded, 184 newly installed, 9 to remove and 22 not upgraded

Is this what is causing
plasma-nm to "disappear"? Should the instructions have us do a full-upgrade
*before*
installing plasma5? Or would plasma-nm stop working in either case?
