I have some improvements to the wording here and there. I could send it to
you, but that's not very efficient for such minor and pretty
non-controversial changes. What if I just do the non-controversial stuff
right there, and email you about the stuff which needs consensus?

I would rewrite this in:
One thing you can look forward to is the possibility of packages of the
upcoming new KDE 4 desktop created in time for release. However, KDE 4 will
not be the default desktop environment for Kubuntu 7.10, though we can
guarantee the development team will work hard to bring you installable
packages as soon as they possibly can.
Not too controversial, right? I didn't change the meaning, just the way it
was written.

Now I could also rewrite it in the following way (but I would ask you about
that, which I'm doing right now):

One thing the users will be able to look forward to are prerelease packages
of KDE 4. KDE 4 will not be ready in time for Kubunty Gutsy, so it will not
be the default desktop environment, but we can guarantee the development
team will work hard to bring you installable packages as soon as they can,
and they will also improve these over the course of the Gutsy lifecycle.

Now this is controversial, because: I removed the 'maybe' part of the
packages for KDE 4, and added the part where they will be improved over the
lifetime of gutsy. I'm not sure about those two, so this needs feedback.

So, I would change the first one, ask about the second. If you're okay with
that, I will proof-read the doc, ask about difficult stuff, and change the
minor things. Deal?
