[Bug 318866] Re: printer-applet does not display when new printers get configured

I can confirm that with the version of kdeutils/kde-printer-applet in
intrepid-updates, 4:4.1.3-0ubuntu1~intrepid1, when plugging in a usb
printer, no popup notification is given by printer-applet. I have also
verified that with version of kdeutils/kde-printer-applet in intrepid-
proposed, 4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~intrepid2, that printer-applet does bring up
a notification popup that a printer is being configured when a new usb
printer is plugged in.
