I am getting the same error:

  This issue is happening very often

  $ software-properties-gtk

  I tried the usual solution I used before:

  $ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install --reinstall python3-six
  python3-certifi

  However, the package is still broken and there is no way to open
  software and updates.
