@Lars I actually quite like separate boostrap partitions for each
installation. It means I can use the option key to choose between them.
Is good if you mess something up like I've just done!

Title:
Installation creates duplicate Apple Boot and swap partitions

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
The PowerPC Alternate image from 2012-03-01
  (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily/current/) creates duplicate
swap and apple boot partitions when Guided-Resize is chosen in the
partitioning scheme. I would expect it to use the existing swap and
  Apple Boot partitions.
