Title:
parted repartitions despite default install "side-by-side" option

Status in “parted” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: parted

  1) Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
      Release:	10.04

  2) parted-2.2-1ubuntu4

For the first time in 10 years decided to rely on the automatic default partition scheme selecting
"install side by side" (with WIndows), rather than "create custom layout"

  3) Expected: that the installer would use the empty disk space for LVM, leaving Windows partitions
      *unchanged*

  4) Instead: one of the NTFS partition was extended (without any warning or my consent!), and ext4
partition appeared about twice smaller than I needed.

A serious error, to be fixed ASAP, not to scare potential users.
