Hey Jorge. Are you using 11.04 or 11.10?

Title:
Checking for updates from a quicklist shouldn't spawn a new window
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
The unity support from the launcher with the download progress is
quite slick, especially the ability to just right click on the
launcher and select "Check for Updates".
However when I do this from the quicklist the normal update-manager
progress bar window pops up on the desktop. It'd be slicker instead if
when I choose to update from a quicklist that the launcher icon
progress bar kicks in instead of popping up a new main window on the
desktop that I need to minimize.
