They're in lts.conf right now because they have to be: we have to maintain
our own printing subsystem. My argument is, we shouldn't have to.

Well, it is and it isn't see my other post, but if cups produced a small,
lightweight printer client for running on thin clients (which, with a
little investigation, they'd find out a LOT of cups printing is done on
thin clients) then WE wouldn't need to worry about printing.
It would be handled by people who are experts in printing.
