Edubuntu Installation / Dual Boot Problem

Thanks Gavin, David and Simon for all your advice!
I'll follow your advice on wednesday as tomorrow is a bank holiday weekend so
schools are closed on tuesday as well.
Thank you for all your speedy reply, I wouldn't know what to do without your
help!
Incidentally Simon, I am the rockprincess on #edubuntu ;) The workaround you
told me recently didn't work for me hence I thought I'd ask on here.
And I fully agree with you, I haven't had any problems at all setting up
Edubuntu Edgy on my machine, but then again I chose the alternate text-based
installer. This time I chose the graphical installer and to be honest, me
being the #1 newcomer, I was confused by this error message:
"The execution of <<grub install (hd0) >> has failed. This is a serious
problem" ... something along these lines.
Because I doesn't really say much except for Grub couldn't be installed but it
leaves no indication to whether what caused the problem or how it could be
fixed. hmmmm. Bless the mailinglists and irc channels though ;)
However, after 4 months I'm completely happy with Edubuntu and I would choose
it anytime again! Once I've fixed this problem and got Feisty working the
school will switch to Edubuntu permanently, with having Windows XP as an
option as well.
Thanks again for all your help, I'll keep you posted on my progress on
wednesday!
Cheers
Theresa
