I'm not proposing to merge bzr-colo just as it is with no fixes or
integration (there would be too many rough edges, eg the absolute path
bug), and nor am I proposing to rewrite new code with equivalent
functions. Just where we end up is to be determined, so "bzr-colo"
and "equivalent" are a bit fuzzy at the moment.

Packaging bzr-colo as it stands now would be useful in its own right,
and would help people participating in this thread try it out. But
installing it is really pretty easy (`bzr branch lp:bzr-colo
~/.bazaar/plugins/colo`), and really pretty trivial compared to the
commitment of changing your work practice to use it and posting some
thoughtful opinions on how it worked out. So packaging it, while
useful, is probably not on the shortest path to deciding what we'll do
in bzr core.
If you want to package it, Jelmer or myself will mentor/sponsor you.
