Hummm . . .  it turns put I have had what in the UK would be termed a
"cock up" with my bzr-svn branch :-(

My svn plugin turns out to have been a branch of
http://people.samba.org/bzr/jelmer/bzr-svn/bzr.dev which hasn't been
touched in ages.  I have now deleted in and rebranched lp:bzr-svn.

I am guessing a bit but I think the following may be a rationale for the
problem.

--  Many moons ago I branched lp:bzr-svn to ~/.bazaar/plugins/svn.
--  At the time lp:bzr-svn was a redirect.
--  The redirect URL got stored as the parent.
--  lp:bzr-svn stopped being a redirect but my checkout had no way of
knowing this.
-- I failed to notice there had been 80 revisions in the last 5 months.

I note that now "bzr branch lp:bzr-svn svn" means that the resulting
branch has no knowledge of where it came from.  This is both good and
bad.

The most important thing is though that bzr.dev now works for me :-)
