I read Joel's hginit.com website yesterday and found it to be somewhat
entertaining (if you enjoy Joel's particular brand of humour) and pretty
good at explaining how Mercurial works and how to use it. He employed a
tutorial approach with lots of diagrams showing revision graphs,
relationships between repositories, etc.

On a sidenote, it made me realize that I prefer Bazaar's "There Is Only
One Head In a Branch" philosophy over git/hg's ability to have multiple
heads in a branch. Having multiple heads seems like a recipe for disaster.

Anyway, I see this more as an advocacy piece even though it's presented
as a tutorial. It's a tutorial which attempts to convert/convince
Subversion users that Mercurial is better.

Sorry to say, guys, but I'd never heard of any of you before I first
read about Bazaar. ;)

Ciao,
Gordon
