I pulled in your update, but I don't see any 'locale' directory at all,
much less any 'locale/*.mo' files. Am I missing a setup step that should
be taken? This is done by grabbing the exact snapshot of 'release-0.5.0'
and running 'python setup.py build' (I believe).

How did you make the .mo files? I don't see a specific script or
reference to them in setup.py

(So for now, I'd have to revert your bzr-windows-installer patch, as the
2.1.0rc1 installer won't build...)
