Jelmer,
Can you please refresh my memory about the particular problems this will
cause you? Were you objecting to rules in particular or the broader
concept of having a .bzrmeta directory? We certainly need *a* solution
and this proposal seems to strike a reasonable balance of pros vs cons.
Can we solve your concerns by putting access to .bzrmeta/rules (or
.bzrmeta/xxxx) behind an API friendly to your needs?
