rich-root-pack with Bazaar 1.3

Howdy all,

I'm looking to set up a mirror repository, on a host that only has
Bazaar 1.3 and will not get a newer version until some time after
Debian 'lenny' is released; i.e. it will be Bazaar 1.3 for some
indeterminate period into the future.

I would like to use the 'rich-root-pack' format, since I'm told that
allows compatibility with many of the modern branch formats.

Are there any caveats? Any problems with the way Bazaar 1.3 works with
'rich-root-pack', or other interactions that will likely cause
problems?
