darcs foreign branch support ?

Thanks for the info on this. So I think there are a few ways one might 
think about mirroring a new repo format to bzr:

1. by hacking cscvs

2. by adding foreign branch support to bzr

3. by adding fast import support to bzr

and of these 3 is the one that would probably be most useful to work on.
Still I wonder if

4. using tailor

would be a quicker way to add to launchpad's mirrorable repo formats ?
