   Which works, but isn't very comfortable.

   I'd love to see a plugin which makes editing Metadata of an existing
   branch easier. This can be usful for polishing an not-yet-published
   branch before publishing it.

Which is something that could be added as on option to the commit
command like this:

bzr commit --amend <revno|file> with default to the latest revno committed.
