This sort of thing really should be generalized so the mechanism could
be used by all converters.  Log messages are full of references to
revisions where things were fixed or introduced or changed or
whatever; tracking them down post-conversion should be easier than it
is.  Especially in the case of CVS; how'm I supposed to find
x/y/z/foo.c r1.67.2.17 which I need to track down a reference,
post-conversion?
