It's good to have you here.

I think that's a reasonable description of the different audience
subsets.  But for the moment I think we should focus on documentation
that doesn't assume any particular background (beyond basic computer
literacy, we don't want to be explaining what a file or server is.)  If
someone is already familiar with another system, they can skim the parts
they already understand and form their own idea of the differences, or
in cases where there's a notable or potentially confusing difference we
can add a footnote about it.  (I realize you're not implying that there
should be a different document for every audience.)
