I'm not concerned about consistency with other Arch clients. I'm
concerned about consistency with previous baz-import runs. And it looks
like the email parser in the current python release just picks the first
match, but I'd need to check the code to be sure it's even
deterministic.

Okay, I can inspect the python tarballs for changes in the email parser.
Which versions do you think are relevant?
