[apparmor] AppArmor 2.5.2 and 2.6.0 first release candidates

[Bah, my apologies. The 2.5.x release candidate is for the 2.5.2
 release, not 2.5.1. I've adjusted the text below; note that all the
 URLs in the original post were correct.]

I'm happy to announce the first release candidates for the AppArmor
2.5.2 and AppArmor 2.6.0 releases are available from the AppArmor
project page on launchpad (https://launchpad.net/apparmor/).

The AppArmor 2.5.2 RC1 tarball is available from:

  http://launchpad.net/apparmor/2.5/2.5.2/+download/apparmor-2.5.2~rc1.tar.gz

It should have the following md5sum:

  853773b7c7f9f88b9ca9515b37092286

and a detached signature is available at

  http://launchpad.net/apparmor/2.5/2.5.2/+download/apparmor-2.5.2~rc1.tar.gz.asc

The AppArmor 2.6.0 RC1 tarball is available from:

  http://launchpad.net/apparmor/master/2.6.0/+download/apparmor-2.6.0~rc1.tar.gz

It should have the following md5sum:

  24e4c3681ae364cb1b55fce7b4bb9263

and a detached signature is available at

  http://launchpad.net/apparmor/master/2.6.0/+download/apparmor-2.6.0~rc1.tar.gz.asc

Both signatures should indicate they were signed with the  AppArmor
signing key, for which the fingerprint is:

  31C1 A553 DAC7 2D85 DDEE  5BF7 8137 98B9 AC93 1271

Release notes for both releases are incomplete at this time; I will
update them and publish them at:

and

I have added tags for both release candidates to the appropriate
AppArmor bazaar trees.

We would appreciate as much testing of these release candidates as
possible.

For Ubuntu users, I have created two personal package archives (PPAs)
with packages built from the candidate tarballs; they are available at:

and

  https://launchpad.net/~apparmor-dev/+archive/apparmor-2.6/
