Hi all,
after upgrade to Xubuntu 24.10 I saw a random TCP port binding on
0.0.0.0 and the process assigned is xfce4-session

After doing research this option is the for the XFCE4 sessions and
startup -> Advanced -> Remote something.

On and off did not change the behavior and then I saw this in the log :

~/.xsession-errors :

xfce4-session: Requested to disable tcp connections, but
_IceTransNoListen is not available on this plattform. Request will be
ignored.

Checking the config : /etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc

setting the --disable-tcp option did not work as well.

Looks like a bug to me.

How can I report it / track it?

Do you face this as well?

Cheers!
