The partition which is full is not adjacent to the partition which you wish
to expand (/dev/sda5), and the adjacent partitions are as nearly full as
/dev/sda5. Since the partition running out of space is your /home
partition, all of the files should be visible. Have you emptied your trash?
Xubuntu does not necessarily empty the trash automatically.
Other than that suggestion, I would be stuck backing up what was needed,
wiping all partitions, then re-partitioning and restoring from backup.
