I lookup up
https://www.baeldung.com/linux/console-change-keyboard-layout
and find this
4. Using the dpkg-reconfigure Command
The dpkg-reconfigure command is another option for changing the keyboard
layout in the console:
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
But choosing apple macbook keyboard didn't help me ...
Then I find this ...
"Thanks, Fn-Delete works in Ubuntu too :) but after hunting around I
finally found the FreeCAD user config file in /Home/.FreeCAD/. I guess
these simple text files are platform independent as replacing the file
on Ubuntu with the Mac config brings over all the Mac FreeCAD
preferences including having the Delete key function :) ."

Of course I know about keyb remapping, but how? Multiplex del and bs on
the bs ?
Thanx, we are getting closer!
