[xubuntu-users] Flickering screen on Lenovo Yoga 900S-12ISK

[StUstD]

Replacing Windows with Xubunto on my laptop/tablet Yoga 900S, the login
screen (in very high resolution) is flickering and unusable. Here are some
specs:
VGA: HD Graphics 915
The i915 video driver module is loaded, but dmesg | grep i915 says:
[...] snd_hda_codec_hdmi hdaudioCOD2: No i915 binding for Intel HDMI/DP
codec
Help much appreciated how to proceed!
