[xubuntu-users] tmp-filesystem unusabel

About the same thing happened to me just a few days ago.  The computer also
was about 10 years running fine.  I ended up getting a refurbished computer
and will be installing xubuntu on to this as well.

My guess is that the bios battery finally bit the dust.  You can test out
the theory by getting a new button battery an change it out, but for me, it
just wasn't worth the effort.
