[xubuntu-users] Samba on Xubuntu

I'm on Xubuntu 20.04.

'Shared Folders (shares-admin)' preinstalled in Xubuntu doesn't work.
It looks like working but always stops on the way. The window
disappears and nothing will happen.

'thunar-shares-plugin' in xubuntu-dev PPA works fine. It can make
shared folders correctly. But it isn't preinstalled. Why? Does it have
some issues?

Should I use 'net usershare' command or edit smb.conf directly without
these GUI applications ?
